Rumor: New PlayStation handheld announcement at PlayStation Meeting

As we have just learned, we can expect a PlayStation 4 Slim and PlayStation 4 NEO announcement at the PlayStation Meeting. If these rumors are correct, Sony may be preparing for a third hardware announcement, which is a new PlayStation handheld.

These rumors come directly from NeoGaf back in June in which a Foxconn worker leaked the PlayStation 4 Slim, this gives him credence to when he said there will be a PSP like device.

To add on top of the rumors, Japanese blog Hakanko is reporting that Sony has registered two wireless modules with the FCC in the United States. The module numbers correspond with the model numbers for the modules in the PS4 and the PS Vita.

We'll have to wait and see, but let us know in the comments what you think about this.

Hopeful it isn't a flop like the Vita, i played the hell out of the PSP but was turned off by the Vitas OEM hardware. The fact that you had to spend so much money on a first party storage for it was ridiculous. Hopefully they moved to SDXC for storage.

Yeah, if this is true it would be nice to see a third system coming in place for the PS stuff of side. Let it be true please. Haha
