PlayStation 4 firmware update 3.55 released

Sony has made a new firmware update available to download for all PS4 users.

A new PlayStation 4 update has been released earlier today. Users all across the world need to download the new update, version 3.55, to be able to use online services.

Update notes are void of anything exciting, sadly. The only patch note reads, “This system software update improves the quality of the system performance.”

It’s just a bit below 300 MB in size, and that’s pretty much it.

I doubt there will be a noticeable difference but it's always good to see improvements.

That's good they updated the ps4 though I don't have a ps4, I have a Xbox one.

Remember the old days with Sony releasing this on PS3 and it got jail broken, Well have not downloaded mine and will do it as soon as I get on, Sony should add some more cool features in updates.

Normally Sony updates the Store and not much for the online so yeah. I haven't got a PS4 now so not sure how the updates looks and what the changes are. Sounds like a normal update to be fair.
