The Taken King, the latest and largest expansion for Bungie’s Destiny is launching on September 15, 2105. Activision officially announced the return of the fan-favorite map, Nuketown, as a pre-order bonus for the PS4, Xbox One and PC only, with no details regarding the PS3 or Xbox 360. Nuketown, now called Nuk3town, was first featured in the original Call of Duty: Black Ops game. Activision claims the map has been completely revamped, in order to suit the high-paced action the game is built on. It’s also known for being one of the smallest maps in the Call of Duty franchise.

The multiplayer beta of Call of Duty: Black Ops III is drawing to a close, and Design Director David Vonderhaar talked on Twitter about some of the gameplay tweaks coming in the future of the game. Vonderhaar mentioned that we’ll like some of the upcoming changes, but we might not like others, as not every gamer sees things from the same angle. This November 3rd, Microsoft is releasing the Xbox One Elite bundle with a 1TB hard drive. The bundle is already available to pre-order with a price set at $499. The Elite bundle includes the Elite Wireless Controller and a matte finish Xbox One with a 1TB Solid State Hybrid Drive that “optimizes system performance so you can get to the action up to 20 percent faster from energy-saving mode."

Lionsgate is developing a movie based on the Borderlands franchise from Gearbox Software. The film is being developed with Avi Arad and his son Ari Arad who worked on Iron Man, Spider Man, The Amazing Spider Man, X-Men, Ghost Rider and Blade. Lionsgate said since the games “don’t pull any punches”, the company wants to create a film “with the same in-your-face attitude,” according to the press release. A filming date or theatrical release window was not provided.

The Xbox One is a large console, but it seems Microsoft is in no rush to unveil a slimmer model.
