Experience the Xbox LIVE Data Centre

xbox live - See the data centres that power Xbox...

Microsoft has released a new video explaining the concept of Cloud computing is, and how it's used to power services such as Hotmail, Bing, Exchange, Office 365, and - more importantly - Xbox LIVE.
The video takes a tour around several data centres, where complex networks of computer servers are stored in huge warehouses, collectively storing vast amounts of information. These data centres are purposefully built in areas where electricity is cheap – like in Quincy, Wash., where Microsoft has built two of these centres.

Uhm, thats weird, an Xbox Live datacenter for Hotmail and Windows activation servers, weird. I would have thought it would have been strictly for Xbox Live, and nothing else? thats how i would have it set up anyway, one datacenter for Windows and one for Xbox, makes better sense then putting all the eggs in one basket :S
