Free to play Xbox LIVE games due next year

According to IGN, a 'trusted source' has revealed to them that FREE TO PLAY games will making their way to Xbox LIVE next year. These games rely on generating revenues from gamers purchasing additional content such as weapons, in-game currency, experience points and various other perks.

The games will be free to play, but your subscription still won't be free. They wont lose any cash from this, just likely gain more (AKA your aunt and uncle buying your little cousin xbox live to play 10 free games that you and him can play together)

This is kinda cool, but its just useless for those of us who are already paying 40 a year for gold membership, we get nothing extra so its not that much of a bonus really :(
