Yer i am pretty sure that you wiull have very similar law in relation to this as we do.

Well im in the US and i called them and they transfored me to a american headquaters and when i said i would put a law suite agenst them the guy laughed and said

Me: Fu you broke the law and you will be held for it

MS HQ: hey ******* we are the biggest corp. in the world you will not win and if it does make it to court we will make you wish you never did so have a nice day and good bye

I am pretty sure that the UK based hq (if we have one) would never speak to a customer like that. Your best bet is to call them back and have the same conversation but this time make sure you record the phone call. This will act as great evidence and will make them les likely to let you take them to court, they would be guarenteed to lose and would therefore offer you an out of court settlement

Yer but this is a clear breach of law. The data protection act is not something that ms can decide not to adhere to if you break their terms of service, it is actual law. If they sell their product in a country that has data protection laws then they have no choice but to follow the rules. They think xbl is just little kids who don't know what they are doing or how to complain but if anyone needs help then contact me and i will do my best to help.

Example: If i was a mass murderer and went to jail, I would still have the right to see any and all information held on me by the prosecution/court/defense/prison service.

So to say you don't have rights becasue THEY banned you is a breach of UK law

i would love to see an outcome of a convo with mircosoft relating to this
