This tutorial will teach you how to mod Call of Duty: World at War after the new 9/9/09 patch to use any DVAR and God Mode
How to mod CoD: WaW after the 9/9/09 Patch

Warnings:

What you need:

• Flashed Xbox 360
  
• CoD:WaW.iso
  
• HxD Hex Editor
  
• Simplyzip (google it)
  
• wx360
  

How to do it:

1. Use wx360 to extract a file called CODE_POST_GFX.FF from the CoD:Waw.iso
   
2. Open CODE_POST_GFX.FF in HxD
   
3. REMOVE THE FIRST 12 BYTES... THEY LOOK SOMETHING LIKE THIS (IWffu100....)
   
4. Open up Simplyzip. Under External Progs Click ZLIB (pack/unpack)
   
5. Select the modified CODE_POST_GFX.FF and select decompress and press start. When it's over you will have a new CODE_POST_GFX with a different extension.
   
6. Open up the decompressed CODE_POST_GFX in HxD. Search for Default. You should come up with buttons_default.cfg (I think that's the name) start replacing all the unbinds with dvars. they have to be in this format (..set g_speed "200") the first two dots have to be 0D 0A in hex to properly Work. if you want to have lots of dvars you can... ALL DVARS AND BINDS WORK WORK INCLUDING player_ignoreammo AND GOD!!!
   
7. Once done use SimplyZip and External Progs. ZLIB (pack/unpack) and click your modded CODE_POST_GFX and click on compress
   
8. Click Start
   
9. Once done you will have a new file. CODE_POST_GFX.zlp or something close to that
   
10. Open up CODE_POST_GFX.zlp and reinsert the 12 Bytes you deleted.
    
11. Use wx360 to replace the original CODE_POST_GFX.ff with CODE_POST_GFX.zlp
    
12. You also need to overwrite the default.xex with (http://www.2shared.com/file/8311314/77f063a/default.html).(The reason for this is because when you overwrite code_post_gfx.ff, the file called default.xex gets overwritten and thus fails to boot.)
    
13. Burn the .iso file

I was reading the comments on the video and someone noticed something strange. The video was uploaded on 10/7/09 but the date on the message he got was 10/8/09 which is one day later. It may be fake. Who knows....
