I am thinking of buying a Nintendo Switch mainly for The legend of zelda breath of the wild but also some other few games such as Mario Kart, Super Mario Odyssey etc...

And if I do sell my PS4 when is the best time to sell?

I do not think the value of a used PS4 will change much in the near future so I do not think it matters much when you sell. Unless Xbox Scorpio is the greatest thing since sliced bread and nobody wants a PS4 anymore but I doubt it.

I personally would keep the PS4 and that is coming from a Nintendo fanboy since the 80s. Is Zelda really gonna last you all the way until the 2017 holidays for Super Mario? Maybe I don't know.

The PS4 offers a HUGE lineup of games for hours of entertainment and a multitude of gaming experiences from big AAA games to small indie games and anything in between.

I am a collector and have almost every console since NES so I will get the Switch but I am in no rush.

FYI - If stores end up giving Wii Us away at an insanely low price you should consider that. The Switch is expensive and accessories are REALLY expensive and no pack in game. The Wii U handles your new Zelda fix and there are a handful of really great games on the console that I am sure are or will be really cheap.

I would recommend dumping your PS4 soon or holding onto it forever. There are so many of them that resell value is horrendous. I bought a switch and am super excited for it but did not trade in any of my consoles.

i say keep the ps4 for online play unless you own a good gaming pc cause switch online is done by phone which was F8cking stupid of them cause not everyone has a smartphone of todays or owns any so if you dont mind this sell it a few days before release also keep in mind that if you plan to play mk8d or steep(only two games i know will have online play) you will need to pay for the sub so if you are short on money sell the ps4, but personally i would keep it for online play with friends

Nintendo consoles are more of what id call a "side" console, meaning only for those few Nintendo exclusives that you want to play.

Nintendo switch would only be good for nostalgia.
