Critique Inbound.

I see the leveled bokeh effect you were going for but in 2 out of the 3 images it was either overbearing or was unpleasantly placed.
When trying to keep a layer of unfocused in your sub-foreground,
you want to do everything in your power to shift inches or feet to make sure your subjects are not obstructed.
For example in Image 1, the flowers over her arm is great but the flower over the dog is unpleasant as it draws away from the photo as a whole.
In image 2, its almost there but there is not enough subject its mostly bokeh.
You would want to move vertically about 4-7 inches based off what I can see.
You would have caught a bit more of her body and less 'blah'.
In image 3 the bokeh effect in the bottom right is good but again the flower tops over the dog and girl are distracting from the small plane of focus.
The last image is good but it appears you had autofocus on and it targeted the spike tips on the collar instead of the base level of fur on the dog.
If you were to reshoot this shot with the changes I siad you would see the entire dog in complete focus instead of trailing off while still keeping the spikes in focus.
This in my opinion was the best of the 4 posted shots but based of previous post you made,
you didn't exactly achieve the shot you were looking for it still came out well, and would be a good black and white edit for sure!

Overall much improvement from point and shoots.
And remember half of photography is luck the other half is skill.
This illustrated by usable shots vs. shots.

Can I get a hell yeah for actual feedback?
As always any questions, you know what to do.

Hell yeah.

I was actually switching between auto and manual focus depending on the situation but I mostly stuck with manual this entire time.
I don't know what I captured the 4th picture in but I suppose it's possible I hit the spike by accident.
I was using 1.4f so I can see why there would be a difference in that single inch.

At first I was going to say I have no idea what 'leveled bokeh' is, but I think I figured it out as I kept reading.
I see what you're saying about keeping stuff out of the way though, I just thought it looked pretty cool.

lm going to post more pictures tomorrow when I finish prepping them... Get a little more variety.

Looks amazing, but a couple of these need changed at bit.

I feel that the frame is too big
( the plants take up to much space)

I like the subject alignment on this one.
But I feel the plants are a bit distracting.
If you cropped it you could possibly make it seem like she is hiding from something.

There is more than snapping a picture.
Try to have an underlying meaning in your photos.

In regards to the last comment this wasn't some kind of surreal, meaningful, themed shoot or anything like that. I was just trying to get good pictures of her.

I see what you're saying on the first one, but I liked how it almost looks like shes overwhelmed in it, like hiding or something.. and I wanted it to show that.

In the second, I really liked how it was balanced with them on one side and the plant equalizing it on the other, but if I crop it, it would take away from that.

Most of the updated Images have a better balance of percentage of focus and unfocused sub foreground levels.
I particularly like the one of the chicks legs and the pup.
Its one of your first I've seen with an applied theme, dominance.
Accidental or not, solid shot.
