I was inspired by a friend to make a little intro video today.
This took a total of about 2 hours.

I'll add intro's to my list of services, for a price of course.
Feel free to contact me if you need one.

The biggest problem in my eyes is from 0:02-0:04 where the one object goes through the other. I would try to animate it differently (even though it could be challenging) and make it a little more believable. Also play around with the materials. I feel like you could find an even better fit for this logo.

I tried for a while to animate the spin a little differently so the objects wouldn't intersect.
As a quick project I couldn't find a good solution in a time frame I cared for, so I settled for this.
Anything else was too jagged and forced looking.

I did play with material presets for a while too.
I tried a bunch of different metals, but really liked this dark looking onyx.

I mean, 2 hours isn't really that long for something like this.

I had to make my logo in PS, export the paths to C4D. Getting a good concept took the longest. I changed the setting, lighting, and materials a few times until I settled on this. Then I had to animate it. Tried to make the objects not intersect but failed and went back to how i had it. Then it took a while to render. Then import to AE and add in a handful of visual effects and spend some time getting those right. Then render and import to Sony Vegas to add audio effects and final touch ups.

It was done pretty hastily.
