Information
Developer: EA Canada
Publisher: EA Sports
Series: NHL Series
Platforms: Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3
Release Date: September 10, 2013
Genre: Sports
Modes: Single Player and Multiplayer

Synopsis
This NHL game is the 23rd installment of the NHL series and was released on September 10, 2013 in North America. What you saw on the NHL 13 cover, anyone could vote the players the wished to see on the NHL 14 cover. The vote started on April 22, 2013 with 60 NHL players (2 players per team) in a single-elimination voting with two players in each match-up, and was closed on June 2, 2013. This game is addictive and is quite like past NHLs, just different players. I think many people who play this NHL will be satisfied! Devils goaltender Martin Brodeur and Blue Jackets goaltender Sergei Bobrovsky qualified for the final,[5] and Martin Brodeur was announced as the winner on June 28, 2013.[6] NHL 14 marked the first time since NHL 97 that a goaltender was featured on the official cover (John Vanbiesbrouck was on the cover that year), as well as the first goaltender on any official ice hockey video game cover since Marty Turco on 2K Sports' NHL 2K6. Jonas Hiller was featured on the cover of NHL 12, but only in PAL regions.

Multiplayer
The multiplayer for this game is pretty much like any other game and/or NHL series. You can either play online or offline multiplayer. If you choose to play online you can play against many different opponents around the world. You will have a big variety of teams to choose from, whether you play online or offline!

Gameplay
The gameplay is overall great! There isn't any real bugs or anything, if you are a hockey fan then you will enjoy the gameplay for this game. You have multiple teams to choose from, such as: North Bay Battalion, Iowa Wild, and the Hartford Wolf park are just a few examples. These are some of the new hockey teams added onto the older teams from NHL 12-13. There also isn't hardly any bugs in the game like there was in NHL 13, you will enjoy this gameplay of this game I think. This year, weve added three new major gameplay features NHL Collision Physics, One Touch Dekes, and the Enforcer Engine, but weve also focused on enhancing the core gameplay experience. From passing to puck pickups, chops to pokes, if you use your stick to do it, its been upgraded in NHL 14. Through community requested improvements. From passing to puck pickups, chops to pokes, if you use your stick to do it, its been upgraded in NHL 14.

Graphics
The graphics are great! This game came out in 2013 and the publishers did a great job. This game has good graphics and are similar to Call of Duty games in some ways! Plus they are improving on the graphics every year, and they will keep improving. I think anyone who enjoys hockey will love this game! If graphics is what you are looking to get in a game, this again is the game to buy.
