I really like the picture with you or your girl friend sister in it
because they have a real subject.

If I were you I would stay away from taking pictures of plants.
Unless your taking the picture of the entire landscape.
or taking a picture of a single leaf.
When you take pictures of plants, you seam to take it at an awkward distance
they aren't really close up, and they aren't really far way.
I guess what trying to say is you shouldn't make branches your focal point.

But besides the awkward branches, looks great!
