This is my first real attempt using the inking technique and I think it came out pretty good.
It might be a little too detailed for a traditional eSports logo, but if you know me, that's just how I roll.

He broke his damn computer.
The fellow should be on with his mobile anytime though, im awaiting his thoughts.
I believe the pure awesomeness of the samurai crashed his computer.

Completely agree the text is shit.
Always been bad with text.
Was hoping to get some thoughts on fixing it.

Very very nice Illy lad..

Super smooth and clean lines and curves. I got to say your inking looks more for a comic book character rather than for an eSports logo. There's alot of detail in your work when an eSports logo is a lot more simple with thick black inking strokes.

Even though you've posted this up now because my pc died, I'm currently working on a fix. So when its done I will do my version.

Always great work from you lad.

Ok, this is what I have to say.


I think the samurai looks fantastic as well as the text with the badge/shield thing behind it.

But...I dont think this would be an eSports logo.

In my opinion their is too much detail or to much samurai showing for an eSports logo. Like I said Erik, everything looks f*cking badass. But I think if you were going to use this for an eSports logo I think only down to this neck should be only showing, maybe the top of his shoulders. Make his head bigger and put it centered behind the text with 2 of the swords crossed behind him.

That is just my opinion. I respect the fact that maybe you were going for a different style and not something that has been created before where the object is placed centered behind the text.
