Synopsis
Stretch the stick in order to reach and walk on the platforms. Watch out! If the stick is not long enough, you will fall down!

How far can you go?

Gameplay
Stick hero is a unique puzzle arcade game where the player has to successfully get the ninja to cross as many platforms as possible. The game will randomly generate platforms which will vary in distance between them, and the size of the platforms. The smaller the platforms, the harder it is to get to them safely. To cross the platforms, your ninja character will create a line (supposed to be a stick or something to walk across) that gets bigger, you must indicate when you want the ninja to stop making the stick as the longer you leave it, the longer the stick gets. You must estimate the right length of stick so that it reaches from your current platform to the next platform, but also so that it doesn't go over the edge of the platform. This is why the smaller the platform, the harder it is to get to it as there is a smaller area that stick can land on safely. In the middle of every platform is a red area, if you land the end of the stick within this red region then you get an extra point. You get a point for every platform you make it to. You can also collect cherries in levels which you can use to unlock more characters. There is another game mode in this game, you do the same as you do with the stick rising up until you stop it, but instead of falling in between two platforms to make a bridge, you do a front flip and swing the stick , aiming to hit one or more watermelons. Once you hit all of the watermelons that are near the platform, you will jump to the next platform. The length of the stick matters because if you hit the next platform, even if you hit all of the watermelon, you will lose.

Graphics
The graphics in this game are 2D, as with most of Ketchapp's games. The layout of the menu is also similar to that in the game Don't Touch The Spikes, you have the play button in the middle of the screen which is bright red with white text, this button alone stands out from the rest of the screen. The other options are smaller, grey circles with the appropriate icon or text. Another thing that it very visually appealing about this game is the background whilst you are playing, when you move forward to the next platform, the background moves with you, but at a slower pace. This almost gives the game a 3D effect as it is effectively another layer of the game.

Audio
The audio in this game is simple, but very fitting to what happens in the environment. Depending on the background that you have when you are playing, there will be a different background sound. If the background is an ocean, then you hear sounds of rushing water. If the background is a forest, then you hear birds tweeting and the calm breeze. Apart from those background sounds in the game, there are various other sound effects that you will hear when playing. Stretching out the stick to place in between the platforms plays a constant drumming sound until you stop, when it hits the platform it makes a low thudding sound. If you successfully get onto the next platform, you hear a quiet jingle, alternatively falling off the platform will play a comical sound of you hitting the ground.

Controls
The controls in this game are fairly simple, all you have to do is hold your finger anywhere on the screen to increase the length of the stick, and let go to drop the stick onto the platform. The only other control is tapping on the screen while you are walking along the stick, this will somehow disobey physics and let you walk upside down on the stick if you need to collect cherries. This could also be used if there were obstructions in between the platforms which would require you to change the side of the stick you are walking on.
