Synopsis
Introducing the most realistic RC Plane game and sim for iOS with 6 new game modes, 17 planes to pick from and Game Center achievement and leaderboard integration. The graphics and gameplay in this universal app are stunning and optimized across a range of supported Apple devices with specific optimizations for iPhone 4 Retina Display and both iPad and iPad 2. Check it out now.

Gameplay
This game is a very nicely detailed flight simulator game. Despite it being an app on handheld devices, it runs very well and is nice and smooth. In this game you control a plane from a large selection of maps and have a variety of different missions/game types you can play. One of these is free play; you can fly around worry-free for as long as you want without having to fulfill any objectives or tasks. This gives you a chance to explore the map, and learn all of the different places. Another mode you can play requires you to fly an aircraft that has a rear opening door, one of these for example is a C130 which has a huge cargo door at the back. This mission requires you to take off, and then fly over a drop zone and drop a package from the cargo door. This sounds easy, but maintaining stability is difficult, when you open the cargo door the plane becomes jittery and unstable which gives you a good challenge. One other game type you can play requires you to fly through various hoops around the world, this is very challenging as some of them have a set time that you have to get in between them in, this is a really challenge for the expert pilots. In the game there are a huge number of aircraft you can fly, along with extra ones that you can purchase with the In App Purchases. These planes all have their own individual abilities, there are some that travel extremely fast, some have the ability to drop water when triggered, and some can land on water. Overall this game is very fun to play, runs very well, and can occupy your time nicely.

Graphics
The graphics in this game are beautiful, to have a 3D game in this much detail on handheld devices is outstanding. The different planes and aircraft are all individually designed and have their own unique features to them which look very professional. In the game for example, the clouds in this sky move on their own freely, this alone makes the game seem to be made and designed very well. I also like the way that the different parts of the plane work differently and independently; when you change the thrusters, a different amount of color will come out the back of the plane, the size of it will change. Also for example when you toggle the flaps, landing gear they all animate out nicely keeping a smooth feel to the game.

Audio
The audio in this game is also very nice, as soon as you load up the game you are hit with a calm song playing the background which is reminiscent of World War 2, but that is just how I hear it. When you are flying the planes, each different ones have their own unique sounds. For example a plane that uses propeller engines will have a very different sound to the planes that use alternate engines, some of the planes even sound quite futuristic. Some of the sounds in the game do sound quite strange however, one of the planes (a fighter jet) sounds like it is underwater when it is flying at full speed but again, that is down to how you hear it.

Controls
The controls in this game are very different to other similar games and I really like them. You have two main virtual joysticks (the stick can be moved up and down for increase or decrease in power and left to right for steering) in the bottom corners of the screen; the one on the left controls the throttle when moved up and down, and the rudder when moved side to side. The right side joystick controls the elevation of the plane when moved up and down, and the ailerons when moved left to right. Using both the rudder and ailerons well, you can control the plane very smoothly. This is important as one of the missions requires you to fly a jumbo jet full of passengers safely, you need to be careful as sudden drops or movements will result in failing the mission due to injuring the passengers. Some similar flight simulation games I have seen use the devices gyroscope and tilt functions to control the plane, I like the controls in this game better as tilt can be annoying at times.
