Synopsis
Challenge yourself rolling the best sushi in town in this classic game.

Start your own sushi restaurant, build your sushi restaurant emporium and finally become the one and only Sushi Chef! It is a challenging and exciting time management game where you really have to rely on your memory skills.

Your goal is to reach a daily target by serving your customers all kinds of sushi. At every new level more sushi ingredients will be added and your sushi making will be more complex. To reach your target in higher levels you can get upgrades, make combos or serve some takeaway meals. To make your customers even more happy, you can decorate your restaurants, perform great knife tricks or serve some sake while they are waiting. Its a fascinating time management game, unique in its genre. Youda Sushi Chef outshines by beautiful design and a challenging game play.

Aim/Objective
The aim of this game is to make as much money as you possibly can in the time that you are working at the restaurant to keep it running and prevent it from going out of business. To complete the game, the player must complete a number of working days in each of their 6 restaurants, making sure they make enough profit each day to progress. The player must accomplish this goal by learning and making sushi recipes, serving the customers and making sure they are kept happy, the player must also make sure that there is enough stock of ingredients otherwise there won't be any sushi.

Gameplay
This game has you as the owner and head chef of a sushi restaurant, you are equipped with a recipe book, a telephone, 3 bottles of sake, a knife, a rolling mat, ingredients and a conveyer belt to get the sushi around to the customers. You start off with 3 ingredients, Rice, Nori and Ikura (Roe/fish egg). The three starter recipes are Onigiri Maki (2x Rice, 1x Nori), Ikura Maki (1x Rice, 1x Ikura) and Gunkan Maki (1x Rice, 1x Nori, 2x Ikura). To make the recipes, you click on the ingredient and one of them will be placed on your rolling mat. Once all of the necessary ingredients are on the mat, click on the mat and it will roll the sushi and place it on the conveyer belt to be served to the customers. The order of the ingredients does not matter, but if the ingredients are wrong then it will produce a lovely piece of poo on a plate instead of the sushi. As the customers wait, their mood/patience depletes. The less happy the customers are when they finish their food and leave, the less money they will leave you. TO increase the customers mood, you can give them Sake which restores one out of 5 mood bars, or you can perform tricks with the knife which also restores a mood bar. To complete a level, by the end of the day (lasts around 8-10 minutes) you have to have made a certain amount of money. If not, then you have to do the level again. Once you complete the level, you can purchase upgrades for your restaurant such as faster conveyor belts, faster rolling mats, better telephone (eventually a computer) to order ingredients and upgrades for the knife and sake. Over the course of time you will unlock more complex recipes which will require you to concentrate to remember all of the combinations.

Graphics
The graphics in this game are very nice, the customers are 3D and are animated which gives the game a more realistic atmosphere. The environment and the surrounding in the restaurant are nicely decorated and can be upgraded. I also like the animation of the knife, it is only a small feature but it is simple and shows a high level of detail, one of the upgrades for it cuts a piece of cheese in mid air, the animation for it is really smooth. It is just the way everything fits together, the rolling mat is nicely animated.

Audio
The audio in this game is probably what strikes you first, a Japanese song plays in the background for the majority of the game, this makes the atmosphere of the game even more realistic as it is what you would imagine of a Japanese sushi restaurant. When you make multiple dishes in a row you get special combos and bonuses, there is a nice, quiet jingling sound to make you acknowledge that.

Controls
The controls in this game consist mostly of tapping on the different things you want to interact with. To make sushi, you tap on the different ingredients displayed on the left and one of them will be placed on the rolling mat. You tap the rolling mat to make the sushi dish, you also tap to clean up a poop dish, use the knife to entertain the customers and order new ingredients. One thing I would like to see added to the game is the ability to select which dish goes to which person; you could simply drag the dish onto a customer and it would go on the conveyor belt to that customer, not any other customers that are in front of the customer in the cue. This would make it easier to keep track of the orders and maintain the happiness of the customers.
