Ok so basically I'm looking to build a cheap-ish rig that can handle small games like LoL, Counter-Strike etc.

Here's what I've come up with

There's no case because this isn't for me, it's for my girlfriend and she's insisted on the Corsair Air 240 and it's quite expensive, so I will buy that for her. And as for the GPU I was going to run off the intergrated one for the time being until AMD's new card releases to see what's on offer and to see if the prices of the other cards will come down.

If there's any better I could do for around £250 GBP for the HDD, RAM, Motherboard, CPU and PSU, your help will be appriciated.

I suggest defiantly getting 2x4gb RAM sticks it's only an extra 20 pounds or so (Im from US)

Also go for a Kingston SSDNow V300 Series 120GB its an ssd that will help boot times and other things other than that it looks pretty good.

Oh it will definitely be upgraded to 8GB in the near future. Just for now 4GB keeps it within budget though. And I didn't realise that SSD was so cheap, is there a reason for this?

Yeah the v300s suck I know I have one lol. They're faster than the standard hard drive. But yet not as fast as an ssd should be. This is because kingston swapped out the nand. Resulting in slower speeds.

You'r going to need a Gpu (Graphics card) in order to use the computer... Unless its integrated with your Processor. which then wont get you very good frames if your looking towards gaming. Try GTX 960. $200

It has intergrated graphics, he said he was going to wait until AMDs new r9 3XX cards come out.
