Synopsis:

Wanted: Weapons of Fate is a video game developed by Grin and published by Warner Bros. Interactive and distributed by Universal Studios based on the film of the same name. It was released for Microsoft Windows, PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360. Set about five hours after the events of the film, Wesley Gibson continues his transformation into a full-fledged assassin and heir to a legacy of a secret fraternity of assassins. He continues his quest with a new mission to seek out the French chapter of the Fraternity, hunt down the Immortal, and finally discover the truth about his family.

Story:

Welcome to Wanted Weapons of Fate, you play as Wesley Gibson who is becoming a modern day assassin. You must continue your training to become a very skilled and stealthy assassin in order to do what you really want to do which is find out the actual truth about your family. It will be a long and dangerous road ahead and if you are not prepared and trained properly you will not survive and never find out the truth about your family. As you begin your long journey there will be many enemies in your way who will try to do anything to stop you from succeeding. You will need all your skills and strategic thinking in order to over come these enemies and learn the truth about your family.

Gameplay:

Wanted Weapons of Fate is a extremely interesting shooter game that has such a unique play style to it that it completely stands out from other shooting games. When I first saw this movie I thought man this would make a sweet video game and I guess some developers felt the same way because here we have it a modern day assassin game with you curving bullets to kill enemies and being extremely stealthy and being able to move so fast that the enemy does not even realize you are there till it is to late. I personally really enjoy the game play for this game and think it has a lot of things in it you do not normally see in video games. For example a good amount of this game involves slow motion shooting or curving your bullets around walls and other objects to kill your enemy. This is something you do not normally see in a video game, especially a shooter type game. I personally like the fighting that goes on in this game and how your character moves like a shadow that is rarely seen but when it is your character acts on it incredibly fast. The storyline for this game is actually pretty good too. I was pretty impressed with the campaign when I was going through this game the first time and really did enjoy every level in the game. I felt like I was truly this amazing shooter that no one could defeat but I was wrong. As you progress into the game more your enemies will get a bit harder and you will come across a few bosses that you will need to kill in order to move on to the next mission. The other thing that I really liked was as your got farther into the game your character begins to wear some really cool looking armor and a really cool mask, it is pretty intimidating to look at and I think any enemy seeing it would fear you. Overall this game is extremely fun and pretty addicting. I had a lot of fun playing this game through the first time and think anyone else would enjoy it as well. The storyline is really good and it does take after the movie pretty well. I do recommend this game to anyone.

Graphics:

The graphics for Wanted Weapons of Fate are actually pretty decent when it comes to attention to detail. I really did enjoy the detail this game has to offer and it even focused on the little things that most people would not really pay attention to such as bricks on a building. I like the look the graphics have actually and think they really make the game really good. Especially when you go into slow motion you can see the shell exit the gun and the flash coming from the end of the gun as you shoot at your enemies. This game is kinda a darker colored game and I was thinking it might get way to dark at times in the game which would make the game frustrating to play but to my surprise the darkness was just enough to give you that stealthy feel to the game but at the same time makes sure you can still see what you are doing. I have never noticed clipping with anything in this game and personally really do enjoy the graphics of this game. Overall these graphics are pretty decent and do fit the game well. I think if they were to remake this game the graphics would need a bit of a upgrade though. I think any other gamer would be okay with these graphics though and appreciate the amount of detail put into this game.

Controls:

The controls for Wanted Weapons of Fate are actually really good and fit the game really well. I really think they help make you feel like you are actually the assassin fighting all these enemies and not just playing a video game. The controls are really easy to learn to which is another really good thing. I cannot stand a video game that does not have basic controls that are easy to learn if I cannot learn the controls then I cannot even play the game which just ruins the whole experience. Remembering the controls is just as easy as learning them and I do not see why anyone would have issues learning these controls. The game does have a bit of a tutorial that will teach you a few things which is always nice so that way you do not have to just try and figure it out. Overall the controls for this game are pretty decent and work for this game well. I found nothing wrong with the controls and found them to be easy to learn and to use during game play.
