So while in Basic Training, I created a board game (using only sharpie and paper) called Ranger Run to cure our boredom.

Now being home I took it to Photoshop, and remastered it.

I may be good at making it look nice, but I'm not too good an making it play well.
If anyone has any ideas or suggestions please let me know.
I'd like to make it as entertaining as possible.

Here's how it works:

So, it pretty much plays similar candyland.
You roll a dice, and you move. First one to the end wins.

'?' means you pick up a card, which have good and bad outcomes.
The gray circles are landmines so you lose a turn.
The crosshairs are ambushes so you lose a turn and move back a space.

All of those can be changed though. For instance, I want to think of a better punishment for the ambush, not so similar to the landmine.

The 3 cities on the map you have to stop at, even if your roll would put you past them.

I don't really play to many board games, but you could maybe try to turn it to an online game.
I really do like the design though and the concept of the game. Would love to see this online or as an app or something, look into man!

"looks nice broooo 11/10"

Anywho the design is nice, perhaps bit too boring and repetitive to make me want to play it, but to each their own.
And I mean this is 2015 it's a bored game, good luck getting anyone to play

I recognize your sniper, and launcher from previous work.
From a very nice piece as well.

Anyways, the game is a bit bland, so much of one color.
But would be pretty cool if you could get a few to play the game.

I think that you meant to say chutes and ladders...

Anyways, I like the design behind the game and it looks simple enough to be able to play that I would actually enjoy playing it. As for what everyone else is saying about the colors being bland, I think they go well together since it fits the war atmosphere going on in the background.

As for making this an online game, talk to Telli or start reading up on HTML and other various forms of code on codeacademy and things along those lines and see if you can get this thing made and put up sometime here soon. It would be pretty cool tbh
