I just finshed my first twitter header, and I think it looks ok. Rate/Opinions? I used C4D and Photoshop. 1/10

A bit pixelated... Try cleaning that up. Other than that looks pretty good for your first try.

In my opinion, the 3D text is unnecessary and quite frankly looks stupid. 2D text would've looked so much better and go with the rest of the text.
Also, the gradient is a bit too harsh in my opinion, try to have a easy flow from one shade to another, it's too harsh and swaps shades too quickly and doesn't look too good.
Another big issue I have is there is no lighting and the effects you used are pretty bad. Try focus on minor effects and use lighting to make things stand out. Like my Twitter for example. [ Register or Signin to view external links. ]

But I think the consistant colour scheme makes it flow a lot better and looks nice and also, you have the logos and text the perfect size. Usually when people make one, they make the logos massive and it looks stupid.
Overall, I think I'd rate this a 4/10. Mainly because of the 3D text in my opinion, it's not needed and looks silly.
I hope I didn't offend you.

When you save your Photoshop files that your going to upload. Go to Save for web -> PNG 24.
That is the best quality and you should make the social media smaller

Quality is quite bad.

Get rid of the 3D.

Also when using a gradient make the change from blue to dark blue a little more subtle. So blue to slightly darker blue. Don't go too far with the colour difference.

Try to be a little more creative all around!

My first youtube banner was a embarrassment. If this is your first actual attempt keep at it & you'll have badass one in no time; & more skill then you know what to do with.

Keep it up!
