I have an AMD FX 8350 4.2 Ghz with a GTX 970 and it still won't run smoothly... Any idea why? What runs game like The Forest and Minecraft smoothly? Looking to upgrade

There is no reason what so ever why the 8350 and Gtx 970 shouldn't be able to run them both smoothly.

How much ram do you have out of curiosity?

Have you upgraded your GPU before? If so wipe all the drivers and freshly install the 970 drivers from the Internet.

What are your temps? Monitor them while your playing.

When you say smoothly what do you mean?

Also what's the make and model of Your PSU?

That's what I thought at first!

I have 8 GB of ram. I haven't upgraded, this was custom built from scratch. But how do I wipe those drivers and install it from the net? And I don't know how to get my temps whilst playing... and I mean smoothly as in the frames is bad? A little bit laggy Sad Corsair 550

Well you don't need to clean the drivers as you said it was a new build and that was the first graphics card in the system.

Just make sure your drivers are up to date also.

Yeah i mean what frames?
