Introduction

Welcome both seasoned anime fans and newcomers alike to the official TheTechGame LetsWatch! thread.

LetsWatch! is a community initiative in which one anime series is selected every few weeks and we all complete that series through watching one episode each day for the duration of the show. Allowing the community to have some funny, serious and friendly discussions with like minded anime fans suited to both first timers and rewatchers alike. Gaining new opinions and making friends along the way

Discussion is limited to the current series being watched and can cover any episode up to what is being watched on the day of posting. Outside of that you can really discuss most things, examples including

• Episode/Series opinions
  
• Favorite male/female character
  
• Favorite episode in the series so far
  
• Expectations for the next episode
  
• Funny moments
  
• Favorite quotes
  
• What could be improved on in said episode

Competitions

To spice things up a little there will be weekly competitions regarding the series currently being watched. These can span a wide range of activities and cover each episode watched in that said week.

• The winner of the competition is determined by the amount of up votes https://www.thetechgame.com/themes/ttgv4/style/images/thumbs_up.png the users post receives by other members
  
• The winner of each contest receives 200 reputation points
  

Contests cover a variety of talents and its highly suggested that each member participates. You will have a lot of fun and you have to be in it to win it. Examples of what to expect include

• Funniest screenshot of the week
  
• Best quote of the week
  
• Best/Worst FanArt of the week
  
• Funniest caption added to a screenshot
  
• Change one word in a specific quote

Rules

It is important to remember that all Site and Section rules apply in this thread. A summary of the MOST important ones can be found below

• The posting/mentioning of illegal downloads, torrents and streams. Official streams are welcome such as Crunchyroll, Funimation and DAISUKI
  
• When posting a spoiler make sure to use a spoiler tag. This keeps the experience fun for all other members participating
  
• Keep all discussion civil. Flaming is not allowed. Do not verbally abuse other members (There is a line to this. For example - "I don't like your taste as... [valid statement] would not be considered as flaming, however "you have a shit taste" is)
  
• Abuse of the voting system to win competitions is strictly prohibited and will have you banned from all future competitions taking place
