Hey guys, I'm thinking about selling or trading my 1991 Mitsubishi 3000gt VR4 Twin Turbo. The car is in great condition, minor interior flaws. I got an offer on a 2001 Ford Powerstroke 7.3, with a good amount of mods.

I've been looking for a trade with a truck, or even a luxury/sports car. so do you guys think it's a pretty fair trade? 3000GT has 59k miles, The truck has 160k. Has many add-ons to it also.

It's been really hard finding the value on my 3000gt.

I mean 160k Miles is a lot. But then again I dont know how sturdy the Motor is.

Just from the Looks of both of them i would do the trade

idk if you will get a nice sports car or luxury but you may be able to get 15-16k for both, the car itself isn't worth much at all now a days, but the truck is still worth a little bit. Really if you are looking for a luxury/sporty car id say got with what i have, a 2004-2008 Acura TL, these little luxury cars are very nice, fairly not to expensive, and most importantly very very fast for a almost 4000lb car.

I'd do it without thinking. The 7.3 Powerstroke is one of the most reliable diesels ever put in a pickup, definitely in a Ford. Not huge on the mods but that could be fixed easily and the resale value on those are great, they lose value very slowly compared to something like an old 3000. I say do it!

i say thats a pretty fair trade.

You can do a lot with a truck than a car.

But Gas prices change once you go to a truck. and its diesel.

Other than that. You will most deff turn some heads that truck. js.

Only thing I'm worried about is that 160k miles. Truck wasn't beat or anything, just daily miles. Has a tuner bd diesel upgraded turbo wheel, custom grille, new led headlights, fender flares, lifted on 35s with rockstar rims. Definitely love the look and quality of the truck. How much would it be to turn the interior into vinyl or leather? Not much of a cloth guy

Gas prices are low now, but they'll be super high pretty soon i think. Diesel usually stays the same I believe. I know the gas prices will be higher though, but that's not really a problem.

Then its a good trade, as long as the truck was taken care of engine wise, you should do it.
