Gameplay

Well this game is amazing gameplay wise. It's just like every other smash game, but 100 times better. This time they finally released the long awaited 8-player smash, which is an amazing game mode to play with a ton of friends. I personally love playing 8 player smash with my friends, and some amiibo's too! They have also added a decent amount of new characters to this game, a few new ones to the series are Duck Hunt, Dark Pit, and even Pac Man! There are also a few solo and co-op gamemodes. They have Crazy and Master Hand Orders, which consists of the player paying gold to complete challenges and earn rewards if they can complete the set challenges. They have also added the new Smash Tour into the game, where up to 4 players compete in a Super Smash themed board game, and collect trophies and power ups to use when you run into other players on the board. All in all the new game modes are great, especially when you are tired and bored of playing against cpu and just doing the same old stuff. A downside to this game, that a lot of smash fans are very upset about, is that that campaign has been taken out, WHY IS THERE NO CAMPAIGN? To be honest, the dev's never said as to why, it just wasn't there this time around. But hopefully we will see it next time! And lastly as for the new online fighting, it's great. They did a great job with the new online feature, and the ability to either play for fun or for glory! I personally love playing Fox in For Glory. But if you are not into the competitive scene, and just want to play for fun. Then the for fun game mode is just for you (imagine that) it's perfect for the casual smash player that just wants to play some friendly battles with either friends, or just random people. I also love that I can finally play smash with my buddies, without having to have LAN parties, and having to pass around remotes just to play with everybody. Now we can all play together in the comfort of our own homes! Smash is the perfect game for anybody who loves Nintendo games, or just for anybody who is interested in fighting games, or loves them. And everybody can be great at this game, it's not like those combo breaker, combo spamming Street Fighters, its just as simple as any Nintendo Game!

Controls

For the controls of the game, its very simple, and the tutorial in the beginning of the game is great to get you started. What me and lots of other smash players love about this game, is the variety of controllers you can use to play the game. You can play with the gamecube remote, and adapter, there is the new Wii U pro controller. I personally play the game with the Wii U gamepad, since you can sit in different places, and you don't have to be seated directly in front of the screen the Wii U is hooked up to. The basic controls of the game are, A to punch, B for special moves, and then Z to block, and R to grab. You can also move with either the D-pad/Control Pad or the joysticks, usually people prefer the joystick, but some play with the control pad. Overall I would give a 10 to the controls rating, since the game is so easy to pick up within minutes, and you can find out what works for you, and what doesn't very easily!

Graphics

The graphics in this game are absolutely stunning. I mean come on, they managed to make this game 60 fps, and 1080p while the PS4 and Xbox One are struggling to get 30 fps. I say we give Nintendo a round of applause for this, because this game looks beautiful. No matter how low quality of a TV you have, this game will seize to amaze you, it looks great no matter what. There is no tearing, or artifacts anywhere in the graphics of this game, there are no rough edges, everything is smooth. The graphics are hands down amazing, even on the gamepad they are perfect! I could not have asked for anything else in these graphics, I would have to say the graphics ratings definitely gets a 10.
