As you may have noticed we removed the jtag marketplace, this was done as part of our sweeping list of alterations we plan to put into action. We hope these changes will enable more members to take part within our community. A portion of these changes include the rules, they were in need of a overhaul and we have done just that. Please check out the rules in full here to review our changes.
We feel the site has aged as a whole and the rules should reflect that, further suggestions for changes can be made here.
some key rules changes
- Some swearing is now permitted and the profanity filter has been adjusted accordingly. Racist, sexist, homophobic, and some extremely vulgar phrases remain blocked and will not be treated differently.
- Bumping is now allowed in all sections. Excessive bumping will be treated as spamming and staff members will make the call. Some sections already have limits in place on how often bumping is permitted and these still apply.
- No matter how old a topic is, you can post on it if it is not archived.
- Our stance on mini-modding has changed. Feel free to point other members in the right direction. Please use common sense and the report button.
- You can ask for thanks or rep in posts if you think other members need a reminder to show their appreciation.
- Depreciated and unnecessary rules have been removed and some have been condensed or combined with others.
