UPDATE: added 2 videos one of the tornado and another of one forming.

The Met Office issued weather alerts for strong gusts in the south west of England and southern Wales, which it said would be compounded by heavy, thundery rain.
With the weather warning covering an area from Cornwall to Bournemouth and Cardiff to Swansea, it said the public should brace itself for potential disruption.
This morning, wind speeds of 75mph were picked up on The Needles at the Isle Of Wight, while a speed of 68mph was recorded at Mumbles, Swansea. Gusts of 56mph were also witnessed in Plymouth, Devon.

Guess I'm lucky I live in the South East/East of England then.

My thoughts go out to those affected by this.

I live in the south east as well, we're lucky we didn't get one but i wouldn't mind for a nice thunderstorm though.

Aha, Nothing wrong with a thunderstorm during the day, not so much at night while I'm trying to sleep, I like my sleep ;)
South East is to tame, the only interesting thing to happen here in recent months or so is that F-15 crash.

Yeah, apparently some people think that the F-15 crash due to the nasty weather conditions we had yesterday but i don't think that's what caused the crash.

This was insane!

I have never seen anything like it in my life.
Their was the biggest light explosion and it set all the house and car alarms off it was immense.
Biggest flash and boom I have ever seen.

And over here in the US (Los Angeles to be precise), all we have is a gigantic cloud of pollution and high temperatures.. Would kill for some rain over here

If you all over in that part of the world think thunderstorms and stuff like that are cool, come to the central part of America in Tornado Alley!

I hate thunderstorms, tornadoes, etc. My house was affected by a tornado about 4 months ago probably.
