Info

Title: Warehouse and Logistics Simulator
Genre: Simulation
Developer: app2fun
Publisher: United Independent Entertainment GmbH
Release Date: 25 Feb, 2014

Synopsis

Are you ready for your new challenge? Get ready to take over the control of your original "Jungheinrich" Forklift! Just the best drivers will level up in the Highscore list. The fastest drivers will receive a special bonus. Enjoy the game in full 3D and feel the realistic driving experience. Varied scenarios like the warehouse, construction zone or port zone guarantee variety.

Gameplay

Like all other simulators, it's nothing massively exciting, but it is more of a game where you have to concentrate throughout each of the tasks. You start by choosing from 3 modes (Standard Mode, Time Attack Mode and a Free Play Mode.) Standard Mode is more a sort of campaign/story mode so this is the one i went for, as in each stage there are various tasks of which you have to complete to progress to the next stage. Whilst doing so you will be in control of more powerful and faster machinery. The time limits given for the tasks are very nice and they give you a decent amount of time to complete them. There are many different tasks in each of the 'missions' these can be anything from delivering pallets to customers in car parks to transporting bricks on building sites. The mini-map also helps out a lot as some of the places can be confusing if you don;t know where you're going.

Controls

The controls, they are not explained to you at all in the intro of the game, it's more of a game where you have to mash buttons and get a nice surprise. You can always press the "F1" button to see a map for the keys. But I still thought when i started it that they should have like pop-up saying use these button to do this or something along the lines of that. The first time you look at the layout it looks very messy and there is no way of re-mapping them to your desired layout... So it's either get used to them or don't play it, which in my mind is very weird for a PC games not to have customization in the keys. Also, there is no controller support for Warehouse and Logistics Simulator so you are stuck with a keyboard and a messy layout.

Graphics

Well, I'm not really sure where to start on this as it's by far the worse graphics i have ever seen in a simulation game. The render distances are terrible and when everything is put on the maximum graphics setting available everything is still very very pixelated. The only decent part of the graphics is the weather changes. Very disappointed in this games graphics as it seems as though it was made in a lunch break one day. Seems very unfinished is the best way i could put it without being rude...

Very unfinished.
