I am switching companies, but the only phones I can get are currently released phones (which have been released for at least 3 months or more). (I have a reason I can't go newer, just don't ask).

So anyway. (I have 1-year contracts, so I can get an old version now and wait for a new one, if you have idea's like how I state about the iPhone below than go ahead)

Can people suggest some good phones.

I have in mind the iPhone 5s and a year from now I would get the iPhone 6 or iPhone 6 Plus.

I have previously owned Android, but currently with a low-end Windows Phone.
I like all types of OS phones so feel free to give me any idea's you have!

none........................... Iphones are garbage i recommend Galaxy S4 or S5. Great, durable, If you drop it you won't ruin it like an Iphone.

Or the HTC One M8. Sense is garbage but you could always root it and get rid of it, not that Touchwiz is much better or anything.

Assuming you're looking for a flagship...

Do you want an iPhone? If so, get an iPhone.

Do you want an Android phone? If so, I suggest the HTC One M8, OnePlus One, LG G3, or Moto X. I cannot recommend Samsung phones because I think their software is fugly and bloated and their hardware cuts corners with materials. You may disagree.

The durability argument for either the iPhone or Android phones is completely moot. Take care of your things and get a case.

I'd recommend getting an iPhone, I've had the iPhone 5 for just over 1 year now and have had zero issues with it. It's a great phone. You can always upgrade to the iPhone 6 when your contract runs out and that's probably what I'll be doing in approximately 6 months time.

Go with the iPhone 5S. It's amazing. Wait to see how well the iPhone 6 works out.
