Synopsis
SCP - Containment Breach is a free survival horror game based on the creepypasta stories of The SCP Foundation. As you enter the containment chamber for testing, the power systems fail, and you are left alone against an enemy with no physical weapons. Your only self-defense is seeing...

Plot
The games starts off waking up in a confined room, like a prison cell. A test subject called D-9341 is then escorted by two guards to a testing room where SCP 173 is waiting for testing. Along in the same room are two other testing subjects. All the test subjects are told to keep their eyes firmly fixed on SCP 173. As the testing doors start to close, a malfunction occurs and the entire power goes out. Because of that, SCP 173 had killed the two testing subjects and escaped the testing room. Along with that, multiple SCPs had been released due to the power being off. Now that the last remaining test subject is alive and left alone, now would be the time to actually escape from the SCP Foundation.

Gameplay
The gameplay is very unique compared to most other games. The player is equipped with basically nothing. Players can open doors while some require a level key card in order to get into. Players will come in contact with several kinds of SCPs. Some are harmless while some other deadly. The main SCP that will be pursuing the player often will be SCP 173. This SCP will not move while the player keeps eye contact on them. Once the sight is broken, 173 will move closer to the player and kill them. Within the deeper parts of the foundation, other SCPs lurk within. Some SCPs are very unique in terms of what they do and act. Apart from the SCPs, a task force will enter the foundation in order to prevent any breaches from escaping subjects. The player's only way of escape is to escape from either Gates A or B. Depending on what the player does beforehand, will alter the path to which the player can escape from. Players have no sort of defense against the SCPs players will encounter. All the player can is just run away and not get killed by them. Players can find equipment like a GPS, radio, batteries for the radio, a gas mask, and even SCPs. Players will have a vision and sprint meter which shows the player when they are about to run out of energy to sprint and when the player will blink. As long as SCP 172 is around, it would be safe to blink. When the player decides to blink or automatically blinks, there is a slim chance the player will be surprised with the presence of SCP 173 popping up from out of nowhere.

Graphics
As of now, the game has been updated to version 1.0 so a lot of changes as well as the character models, textures, and other graphical imaging have been drastically improved over time. In the earlier versions of SCP, the graphics weren't the best as it is as of now. The characters and SCPs lacked the details that could be seen easily from afar and up close. The graphics were very dim and unclear while venturing in the total darkness of the foundation. As the game has been getting updates, the overall gameplay and graphics were getting better to appeal both old and new players. The graphics in version 1.0 are amazing and far better than what they were in the earlier stages. The overall details on the objects, SCPs, and other characters are very well done and have decent quality. The steam coming from the pipes also looks more realistic than before. As with the latest update, the lighting of the game which was really dark has lighten up for players to view the area better and really improves the graphics overall.

Controls
The controls for the most part are the typical WASD movement controls which many players should be comfortable with. Players will also be using the mouse in order to interact with objects such as picking up or activating switches. There are a few other minor functions in the game for players to do which shouldn't prove to be difficult to perform. The way the control layout is setup for this game, players should feel comfortable with the layout and not experience any drastic problems when playing the game.
