Synopsis

The goal of the game is to get the blob of mercury to the finish line without losing any mercury in the shortest amount of time, while also collecting collectibles along the way.

Game play

The general idea of this game is to get yourself (mercury) from your starting point all the way to the finish zone. Some of the levels may challenge you to become a different colour via going under a light, while some levels may make you split into two parts to complete the level. The most challenging is when you must split yourself and then become two primary colours and then mix yourself back together to become a secondary colour. There are around 60 levels not including the down-loadable content each level is named after a element on the periodic table. In each level you will be able to collect 4 atoms, to gain these you must do certain challenges such as beat a certain time, stay in one piece to the finish or just as simple as collect the atom as you do the level. You do not have to collect them all in one go so you may reply the levels if necessary each level will change the music that is played.

Graphics

The graphics in this game are very nice, the floor tiles are coloured, and often raise and lower before you get to them. I have yet to see any problems with the graphics for this game. All the colours are smooth and not blotchy even the background looks good which is bars that raise and lower to the song that is played, you can even play your own music and it will change the bars to suit the style of the song played. You play as mercury which is a liquid metal and in this game you flow from area to area the graphics used for movement are very smooth, possible some of the best I have seen for moving liquid. The floor as it raises and lowers even has shading which surprised me alot, the detail in the game is alot for usch a simple concept. In a few levels there are areas you cannot enter unless you are a certain colour, the area would be the colour you need to be, when you enter the area as the colour it fades to white it is quite smooth as it fades rather then be clumpy in some games.

Controls

The controls for this game are very simple move with the left stick and move the camera with the right. I feel if there was a option to click the A button and see it from a birds eye view would have been a good feature to add , or even to see it from a further back angle as some of the levels prove difficult if not seen at a angle.
So overall the controls are well implemented into this game I couldn't think of any way to improve it other then what I have already mentioned and a possibly volume up and down as the music can be loud for some songs and quite for another, this would minimize the time needed to keep opening a menu and closing it

Acievements/Trophies

There are 12 achievement/trophies in this game and you could easily collect them all within 5-6 hours with little effort
