Synopsis
You are the controller and the hero. Powered exclusively by Kinect for Xbox 360, "Fable: The Journey" is a whole new way to experience the deep storyline, heart-pounding action and picturesque world of Albion that fans have come to know and love about the "Fable" franchise. From the new firstperson perspective of Gabriel, a young dweller who has lost his tribe, you will come to the aid of the ailing and mysterious Theresa, who thrusts you into an action-packed adventure full of dangerous enemies, hair-raising chases and humorous characters. As you traverse through dangerous lands with your horse by your side, you will learn to master magic as a deadly weapon, defend yourself in combat and solve puzzles on your journey to becoming a hero.

Gameplay
The gameplay is molded around the player, they make you feel like you posses the magic you use to defeat enemies and gain experience. Throughout the campaign you feel as almost as if you are Gabriel, casting magic spells from your motions. The gameplay of this game is quite unique to this very game for the fact that Kinect on this game takes a turn that the other Fable games did not. Kinect is kind of buggy, but, it makes for a fun experience when it works right!

Plot
Players take control of Gabriel, a dweller, he is separated from his people and trying to reunite with them and meets Theresa, the blind gypsy from the other Fable games, and soon after is sought as a hero and granted the ability to cast spells and fight through various enemies working towards becoming a guardian of Albion and he himself a blind seer. It is also good to note that the plot of this game takes a little longer than other games do to build up, but, when the plot is un-folding and what not, it's amazing.

Story
This game as most of the other Fable games is pieced together well as Lionhead does great work with this series. A lot of the game is being on a cart and guiding the horses in the right direction, besides that you travel through forests and other locations like towns or cliff sides. The story to this game is one of it's own as it is the first Kinect game that I played that had a really fun storyline to it. I do admit, they recycle enemies a little, but, the story is still great!

Graphics
The graphics in this game were lacking, there was detail but it wasn't thought out as much as the other games, they focused more on gameplay rather than an attention to detail. This title could have been more improved on if it were more thought out and they took more time to make it look as good as it actually played experience wise. It is also good to note that throughout the game there was some beautiful areas, but not like there could have been within the game.

Controls
The controls to this game are on a Kinect only setup as gestures made by the player creates different spells to use throughout the game, the controls here were extensive and in some cases can leave you sore from playing the game for long periods of time. In my own opinion it is quite fun for YOU to be the controller! Even though sometimes the Kinect isn't as "spot on" as I would want it to be or hope for, it is still an enjoyable experience using Kinect.

Ratings
Gameplay - 8/10
Plot - 8/10
Story - 7/10
Controls - 6/10
Graphics - 7.5/10
Overall - 7.5/10

Personal Note: This game was fun for a little while but became tedious and would be a lot better if it were on say the new Kinect for Xbox one. If you have a Kinect I would at least try it, bring some friends as it is entertaining to watch as well as play! However, it is still a fun game even with the problems of the older generation Kinect, and is still well worth a play as I said above!
