Synopsis
Bikini Bottom is abuzz! The producers of everyone's favorite superhero show, "The Adventures of Mermaidman & Barnacleboy," are filming a special episode in Bikini Bottom and using the locals as actors. All your favorites are desperate to impress the talent scouts who have created a series of action-packed challenges to test the wannabe stars. Join SpongeBob, Patrick, Sandy, Squidward, Mr. Krabs and Plankton as you compete against your friends for 10 different roles, including the coveted super villain role. SpongeBob goes multiplayer for the 1st time! Play with up to 4 players in both a competitive and co-operative gameplay experience. Compete to earn roles in a 15-minute, full-fledged episode of "The Adventures of Mermaidman & Barnacleboy." Your role changes depending on who plays and wins the game! Play all 30 party-style games in classic SpongeBob-style madness.

Plot
When it was announced that any resident in Bikini Bottom could take part in playing a role for multiple characters in the movie being filmed, Spongebob and his friends all decide to partake to see who will get the roles they all desire. But as they all entered, they noticed the super-villain role was up for grabs but the only way to obtain this role was to earn the most points throughout the many roles they will each be participating in. Regardless the amount of roles they win, its the amount of points that determines who gets to play the super-villain in the new movie.

Gameplay
Similar to the style of the Mario Party series, with the exception of a board with items and spaces, this game is just alike. Players will play 3 different minigames in each location. The games will either be two versus two or a free for fall game. Or in a case of a tie, the players will play a one on one game of rock, paper, scissors to decide who wins. At the end of each game, each player will rack up points for that level, the more points and higher position, the more points the player is likely to earn. Players will have to drive, perform tricks, bounce things, knock other competitors off, serve food, play seahorse soccer, flip burgers, dance, perform music and many other types of fun and unique games in order to win that top role for the new movie. Players can play in three different modes: story mode, tournament, and single auditions. Upon completing the story mode, a silver audition will be unlocked which the only difference is that the score limit will be set higher in order to meet the certain requirements for that level and after completing the silver story mode, unlocks the gold which sets the bar even higher to achieve.

Graphics
For a game that was released about a decade ago, the graphics were quite good for its time. The textures upon each character are quite substantial and the clarity was perfect. The little details on the character's clothing are also remarkable with such clarity that the player will surely acknowledge at any point during the game. The major landmarks like the Krusty Krab, the Coliseum, and other noticeable structures are very precise compared to the actual illustration on the show. Details like the tails and fins have that fluidity of movement on them which during that time was a real neat feature to have. The gameplay runs very smoothly with little blurriness and of fantastic quality overall.

Controls
Since the game consists of a variety of minigames to play, the controls will very depending on the type of minigame players will participate in. Players will use button commands as well as the control stick in various ways that will have players get the use of the controls of the game. Several of the minigames have the button prompts up on the screen for the duration of the minigame which is mostly to memorize to input the commands for a two on two minigame. Overall, the controls are very basic and really don't prove a hassle whatsoever regardless of the type of minigame it is.

Rating
Gameplay: 8.8/10
Graphics: 9.3/10
Controls: 9.6/10
Overall: 9.1/10

Wow this game OMG, aha childhood reunite! Nicely written too I'd give it a 7/10, although it's nostalgic it's not the best game, although it is pretty fun.
