Synopsis
There are a few important things I need to say before you crack into my insanely sweet game. (You might want to sit down for this!) I'm a mercenary with an accelerated healing factor. I've been described as unstable, which is just plain Coo-Coo. (Wait, do sane people say Coo-Coo?) Be prepared for just about anything. (HOLLA!)

Gameplay
In this game is an action, beat 'em up video game with combos that come more and more available to Deadpool as you progress and upgrade your moves. This game has earned a mature rating and frequently breaks the fourth wall. Also, Deadpool interacts directly with the player from time to time. Deadpool comes with two pistols and two swords to start with, but has other long range weapons and other close range weapons available for purchase and upgrade! Lastly, Deadpool has a short range teleportation and three personalities! This game is HILARIOUS.

Plot
Writer of Deadpool, Daniel Way wrote the story in conjunction with High Moon Studios. The meta-story has Deadpool kidnapping the employees of High Moon and forcing them to make "the most awesome game ever starring himself." hiring Nolan North as his voice actor in the process. The story is set with Deadpool accepting a mission to assassinate Chance White (he didn't read the game script and just blindly accepted the hit) a corrupt media mogul who TV channel produces quality programs such as it's hit show "Jump The Shark." Later you get control of the media mogul to have him stolen from you by Mr. Sinister and his team, Deadpool gets upset that they stole him and ruined his contract so the rest of the game Deadpool is trying to get revenge on Mr. Sinister (all the while blowing the games budget.)

Story
The story within this game is hilarious and if you are a fan of Deadpool you will fall in love with this funny game. The game itself is basic and not that much fun, but since it has Deadpool and all his antics and a story line all to his own, it makes for an amazing game. This game is true to Deadpool in all aspects. He's crazy, funny, and one heck of a fighter, plus he can't die. There are many side activities and what not that will make you laugh, as well as the story-line to this game seeming like something you could see in one of his comics. This game is a good game to most anyone, and especially to Deadpool fans.

Graphics
The graphics within this game are actually pretty nice. They aren't super HD or super photo realistic, but they are true to comic book characters and make them and the world you play in look amazing. All the characters and enemies, along with their weapons look somewhat believable and make for a good game, even from a graphical standpoint.

Controls
The controls to this game are as most other games in it's class are. Regular FPS shooting controls along with some easy to learn button mashing combos for up and close, personal fighting. There is no problem with this game from a control/button layout standpoint. Controls are solid from the get go.

Ratings
Gameplay - 7/10
Plot - 9/10
Story - 8/10
Controls - 8/10
Graphics - 7.5/10
Overall - 8.5/10

Personal Note: This game is pretty fun for anyone, and especially for Deadpool fans. The game is only fun for one go around considering they recycle enemies and what not, but the story-line experience is amazing and will never leave a moment of you NOT laughing. They do Deadpool justice in this game and probably build Deadpool a bigger fan base than he already has. This game may not be worth your money to buy, but it definitely is worth a rent!

Side Note: Deadpool is my favorite comic book character/superhero!
