Synopsis
Ratchet and Clank are back! The beloved duo return with an original single-player epilogue to the acclaimed Ratchet & Clank Future: Tools of Destruction and Ratchet & Clank Future: A Crack in Time. Ratchet & Clank: Into the Nexus is a story-driven platform adventure with humor and heart, featuring outrageously upgraded weapons, extreme planet hopping and brand new worlds begging to be explored. Into the Nexus marks a true return to form for the acclaimed series.

After one of the most infamous manhunts in galactic history results in the capture of Vendra Prog, Ratchet and Clank offer to escort the dangerous criminal to the Vartax Detention Center. After a daring orbital jailbreak at the forgotten edge of the galaxy, Ratchet and Clank find themselves lost in an abandoned sector. There, in deepest space, they uncover an interdenominational event that threatens the universe - and forces Ratchet to decide what's really important.

Gameplay
The game-play of this game is just like other games within the series, but focuses more on gravity than previous games. The game features some new weapons and gadgets as well as keeping some fan favorites from the last game. Some of the returning weapons like the Fusion Grenade and The Warmonger, will still be in the game, as well as the new ones like Winterizer, OmniBlaster, and the Nightmare Box. Skill points, cheats, and gold bots are all making a return in this game as well. The mind bending puzzles are also back within this game, and gravity being a bigger issue in this one, leaves you with some amazingly difficult puzzles to say the least! There are a TON of past game characters to make a return in this game, as well as some new ones!

Plot
Ratchet and Clank on board the Seven Prision Ship, are tasked with a delivery of Vendra Prog, a notorious criminal. The duo wake up Cronk and Zephyr, who then deactivate Vendra's cryosleep chamber so that they can deliver her. However, the chamber suffers a deathly malfunction and Vendra is able to use her psychic powers to distort gravity within the ship. Ratchet and Clank manage to over come the broken gravity. Vendra then self destructs the ship getting away with her brother, Neffin, leaving Ratchet and Clank sucked through a glass hole floating in space and unable to save Cronk and Zephyr...

Story
The story within this game is actually pretty fun and interesting. The fact that gravity is more useful in this game makes for some really fun game-play as well as some really difficult puzzles. The story is chocked full of funny lines and dry humor as most other Ratchet games are. And this one isn't lacking in weapons either, they bring back some fan favourites in this game as well as creating some really outstanding new ones. This game is really worth a play if you are looking for a third person shooter than will not only leave your sides hurting from laughing, but your enemies hurting after they are full of lead.

Graphics
The graphics within this game actually don't differ from many of the other Ratchet games, other than the fact that this game takes a lot more time in space than previous games do. There are a lot of blissful, dark moments and scenes in this game, and they are actually really beautiful and stunning to witness. The graphics within this game, and any other Ratchet game is far from lacking, and that is part of the reason that I love these games the way that I do.

Controls
Again, the controls within this game don't differ from previous Ratchet games before it. And, actually, the controls within this game are really smooth considering that they had to add a whole command line of buttons for the gravity portions of missions. The controls are still really easy to use and play with. And any veteran Ratchet player or noob should have no problem picking this game up and giving it a go!

Ratings
Gameplay - 8.5/10
Plot - 9.5/10
Story - 9/10
Controls - 8.5/10
Graphics - 9/10
Overall - 8.5/10

Personal Note: This Ratchet and Clank game was actually another really fun game for me to play. These games are always nice, and no game within the series ever lets me down in any form or fashion, which is another reason that I love these games the way that I do. As always with my Ratchet reviews, you wouldn't be disappointed to pick this game up and refresh your Ratchet love, or start a new love life with this Ratchet game!

This game isn't merely as good as the PS2 Classics, Was kinda uninteresting and It wasn't even that long of a game either. Sadly disappointed with this game.
