Synopsis
Uncharted 2: Among Thieves is an action-adventure third-person shooter platform video game developed by Naughty Dog and published by Sony Computer Entertainment for the PlayStation 3. It is a sequel to the 2007 game Uncharted: Drake's Fortune. It was first shown and announced on December 1, 2008. Officially announced in the January 2009 issue of Game Informer, it was released in October 2009.
A critical and commercial success, it was named by Metacritic as the most critically acclaimed game of 2009, and won Game of the Year awards on IGN, Eurogamer, Game Informer, Joystiq, Kotaku, Giant Bomb, AIAS, X-Play, Game Developers Choice Awards, and the Spike Video Game Awards for the year 2009. A sequel and third entry to the series, Uncharted 3: Drake's Deception, was released on November 1, 2011.

Gameplay
The gameplay is fantastic to this game, it consists of typical third person shooter elements with platforming and puzzles mixed in. The cover system is really good and there is a wide variety of weapons to choose from so you rarely get bored. The gameplay is a good balance of platforming and puzzles, the climbing element is really well done and very fun to do. You can also decide to play the game stealthy at points if you are undetected which is really cool if you like to be stealthy. There is also collectables to get and you can unlock concept art and in game cheats like unlimited ammo, this is just another great feature to the gameplay and keeps it fresh and entertaining. The gameplay is just fantastic in this game.

Story
The plot once again follows Nathan Drake and his treasure hunting antics around the globe. The locations are really good and varied. The real-time portion of the original game is gone and has been replaced with an amazing cinematic style of story that gives great focus, direction and narrative to the story. Drake is a fantastic character and perhaps one of the most iconic in gaming. His emotions and decisions are really easy to empathize and the set pieces really get you immersed into the story. I can't really say much more than that but the story just feels like a film and it is simply incredible it is a must play.

Multiplayer
The multiplayer on this game is really good. The best mode is online team deathmatch. The game maps and weapons are incredibly varied and balanced, you will find yourself wanting to play more to increase your rank and reputation within the online world, it is incredibly fun to say the least. There is also online co-op which lets you play with friends in a variety of situations such as gunfights and teamwork based objectives, this is really fun to play with your friends and the multiplayer as a whole is great.

Graphics
The graphics are amazing, the detail is incredible and the large variety of locations all look superb from snowy mountains to scalding deserts. The enemies and character models look amazing and you can really tell the detail and effort that has gone into them. The lighting and shadows are simply incredible and do a great just at immersing you into the gameplay. The textures are brilliant and so are the rendering distances no problems here whatsoever. I have uploaded some screenshots below so feel free to check them out and see just how incredible this game is graphically speaking.

CONTROLS
The controls are great and it is easy to do what you want. There are a number of changes you can make via presets in the menus if you like to but personally I found the default was perfect, if you have every played any 3PS game you will be more than confident with them. I did however up the sensitivity as I found the default to be a little slow when aiming to enemies at close to medium range. The button layout is really good as you can shoot and throw explosives in quick succession which is very good for clearing out many enemies. The controls work excellent during the climbing and quicktime events also. No problems here.
