Synopsis
Brian Lara International Cricket 2007 is a cricket computer game from Codemasters available on PlayStation 2, PC and Xbox 360 (Also Xbox Live enabled). It is endorsed by West Indian cricketer Brian Lara. It follows Brian Lara International Cricket 2005 released 2 years earlier. It was released on 23 March 2007 during the 2007 Cricket World Cup, which is a similar launch tactic used by Codemasters for the release of Brian Lara International Cricket 2005, which was launched on the first day of the 2005 Ashes series. The game was released in Australia and New Zealand under the name of Ricky Ponting International Cricket 2007 and in India as Yuvraj Singh International Cricket 2007.

Gameplay
The gameplay to this game has a very strong arcade feel to it but that is what makes it amazing to play. It's not the most realistic or the best graphically but it is really really fun to play. The game has different modes like test matches and 2020 cricket, each has its own pros and cons but the addition on more than just one type of gamemode keeps the gameplay refreshing. The different tactics you can employ are really good, yorkers, spinners, fast bowlers etc. make it really interesting to play. Also the tactical side of the game is good positioning the players and deciding whether to run etc. The game is really fun to play and the difficulty settings make it so you can have a very easy to a very hard game and everything inbetween this can be really good when you want a challenge. 2 player co-op and versus is a really good gamemode to play with friends this is where the game really shines as you can get really competitive and especially over a test match you want to win and play well. The gameplay is incredible suffice to say.

Graphics
The graphics are okay but not the best, there is definitely room for improvement in the crowd as they often look the same and are not very detailed at all. However the main pitch and players look very good to be honest. The action replays are probably my favourite part as the close up on the players are actually really good this is where they have added the most detail. They have done a good job graphically with the weather and the atmosphere by using a variety of techniques with the lighting and shadows as well as the colour this really helps immerse you in the game. Screenshots below so please check them out so you can get a better feel for them.

CONTROLS
The controls are excellent and you can do exactly what you want when you want they are really responsive. The fact that the direction and pace of a shot is decided from the same side of the controller makes it easy to do both simultaneously whilst the balls are being bowled this is really important to this game. Many of you may not be familiar with cricket games but I can assure you you will get used to them quickly. No problems here.
