Bloons Tower Defense 4 is an online tower defence game that is free to play it can be found on many game websites across the web. It is developed and produced by ninjakiwi and is available on the PC and tablet devices.

Synopsis
Bloons Tower Defense 4 is the fourth installment of the popular Bloons Tower Defense series, released on October 26, 2009. The game has many new features, including but not limited to improved graphics, new towers and new modes. This game also has an expansion, with new maps and Specialties, which affect the cost of certain towers.

Gameplay
The concept of this game is very similar to other tower defence games. You select a backdrop at the beginning there are multiple to choose from each with a different track and difficulty associated with it. As each round progresses balloons will enter the track and your objective is to pop before they reach the end of the track and you run out of lives. There is a variety of weapons and associated upgrades that help you to destroy the balloons but they can be expensive so you need to save up money from destroying balloons of varying difficulty to pop. There is a good levelling system in play that means you have to rank up to unlock new weapons and upgrades to help you defeat the balloons. There is basically an endless number of combinations of tracks, weapons and upgrades that no two play through will be the same. The gameplay on this is really satisfying and has good re-playability you don't find yourself getting bored despite it being a free game which is excellent.

Graphics
The graphics are really good to say it's a free to play game, they have really put good effort into the colour scheme (it is very distinct, bright and bold this works very well in my opinion)and this game looks excellent. The maps you can play on are varied and each one has its own graphical appeal especially the colourful galactic like ones. They have put real good effort into the design of the bloons and different colours and patterns represent how hard they are to pop, the patterns look really nice zebra for example and make a nice contrast with the track.
