Synopsis
LittleBigPlanet 2 is a puzzle-platformer video game, centred around user-generated content. The game is developed by Media Molecule, published by Sony Computer Entertainment Europe for PlayStation 3. It was originally scheduled for release in November 2010 but was delayed until January 2011. The game was released in North America on 18 January 2011, in mainland Europe on 19 January 2011, in Australia and New Zealand on 20 January 2011 and the UK and Ireland on 21 January 2011.
It is a direct sequel to the critically acclaimed 2008 title LittleBigPlanet and the third game in the series following a PSP version released in 2009. Most of the more than 3 million levels created by users in the first game carry over and are playable and editable in LittleBigPlanet 2. Unlike its predecessor, which was marketed as a platform game, LittleBigPlanet 2 was marketed as a "platform for games". Support for PlayStation Move was added to the game through a software update in September 2011, allowing users to play the game using the PlayStation Move motion controller in conjunction with a Navigation Controller or gamepad.

Gameplay
This game continues where the last one left off. It contains all of the elements of the previous game but with some cool additions. For example now as well as the normal puzzle levels there is the added new types of gameplay such as role-playing, racing and puzzle games. Each of these just adds an extra level of gameplay to the game and gives it more re-playability. They have also added the ability for players to utilise the six-axis and controller at points during levels, this makes it a more immersive experience. You still have a practically unlimited number of possibilities and you are only limited by your imagination.

Story
This story continues where the last one left off, although the story is somewhat lacking, it's mainly an excuse to play the levels designed by the developers as opposed to the ones downloaded from other players. Whilst I'm not opposed to this I'd rather they either bulk the story a little more or just drop it completely and have the levels on their own regardless of story. Saying that though the format does work and the story mode is decent enough it is just lacking a little bit of focus and direction but is still solid and great fun to play.

Multiplayer
This game has multiplayer co-operative multiplayer mode which can be very fun to play with friends but again it feels like they need to add more to make it truly great. The multiplayer co-op is still good though and there is a variety of levels you can download and play with friends so it's quite extensive. You can have up to 3 of your friends playing with you both locally or online and that's what makes it really fun to play as you can help each other if you get stuck at any point. Playing with multiple people on this game is really good as you get the sense of teamwork and the co-op levels you can download are awesome to play with each other. As long as you download the right maps you can play this with your friends for hours and not get bored. It's really awesome.

Graphics
The graphics on this game are noticeably better than its predecessor, they have made the graphics look sharper, animations look better and everything just seems more crisp/detailed. The backgrounds look really nice and the shadows and lighting are particularly improved. The textures look fantastic on all the different items as well. They have really done well in making the characters like sackboy seem a lot better looking you can really see all the patches on him as he is really detailed. They have done really well in this area.

CONTROLS
The controls are very good, you can easily manoeuvre the parts needed to create your levels. The button scheme is also very good and you will have no problems when playing other peoples' levels. They have done well in utilising the dpad and analogue sticks to do things that are essential to the game like rotating objects and moving items. They are very good and you will become accustomed to them easily.
