Hi, I'm planning to start my youtube channel today, and I plugged my X12s into my laptop, along with the pink cord. The problem is, I can hear my friends fine, but they can barely hear me. The green plug is still connected, so I can hear game volume.
Any help? I'll rep 50.

when you say they can 'barely' hear you does that just mean you sound very quiet? or is it distorted sound?

Pull out the Cable going from the controller to the boxy thing, Make sure neither end is plugged in then plug them back in.

I'm very quiet to them, but I can hear them fine.
Also, my mic doesn't pick everything I say.

You might need to change something in your settings on your pc.
Do you have a Windows or a Mac?

My guess is it is either the pink cord or your controller. You can test the cord via PC, and try any other old headsets to see if its your controller

Have you plugged the USB in? I had the USB out when I did it on my Xbox and had the same problem as you. When I plugged them in everything was good.

if your mic doesn't pick up everything u are saying its because it is not close enough, I know it a pain but you need to put it very close to lips with the x12s
