Synopsis
Titanfall is a 2014 first-person shooter multiplayer video game developed by Respawn Entertainment and published by Electronic Arts exclusively for Microsoft Windows, Xbox 360, and Xbox One. The game was released for Windows and Xbox One on March 11, 2014, with an Xbox 360 release to follow in April. Respawn was formed in 2010 by the co-founders of Infinity Ward, the development studio behind Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2. The company announced Titanfall as their debut game at Microsoft's E3 2013 press conference.
Gameplay
The gameplay in Titanfall is brilliant, it is always very fast paced and is very entertaining. Players can either fight the enemy on foot or inside mechanical style walking machines called Titans. The game is Online play only, which I thought was going to ruin this game, but I love the style of it. Its very clever the way it has been laid out. You play as two teams Militia or IMC and takes place on a derelict planet. The standard game offers 15 multiplayer maps along with 33 weapons, also the online play does allow Splitscreen. The servers allow 12 people, meaning the teams 6v6, which when I first heard of that wasnt very impressed. But as I have gotten into the game, it feels perfect for the size and layout of them maps. A timer is overlaid in the bottom right hand corner of your screen, it shows how long is left until you can call in your Titan, this time is decreased by killing enemies and/or capturing objectives. The game offers 3 different variations of Titans, Atlas, Stryder & Ogre, each having their own special abilities when in battle. The game has 2 modes to play in, Classic and Campaign, as they are still both online multiplayer games, the Campaign mode offers scripted into scenes to add a single player aspect and feel to the game. Everytime you complete the Campaign mode you unlock a new Titan, Stryder & Ogre. This in my mind is a brilliant way of unlocking things as you cannot rush to them or boost for them. Titanfall is an overall very pleasing game that has the ability to out sell Call of Duty and Battlefield, the two main franchises that rival Titanfall.
Graphics
The graphics in Titanfall have dramatically improved since the Beta, it feels a lot smoother to play and gains better framerates now it has better optimization. All of the textures are brilliant with great terrain quality. The textures on the guns are brilliant, clearly new models were used to shape them, I have never seen models or guns like this in any previous games. The textures and models of the Titans are very well thought out it is very clever how you enter the titans. The startup screen when you enter the Titans make it feel like an actual machine on the battlefield. Both the loading screens into and out of the games are very nice and fast, they seem to load a lot faster than other games i have played. The only thing I would change about the in game lobby, is the intermission time of 90 seconds, it is way to long for my liking. Overall the general graphics in this game are brilliant, I wasnt expecting anything more from this game at all, it plays smooth with really nice framerates.
Controls
The controls within Titanfall are very straight forward, I have hardly had to change anything in game, only a few things to my personal preference as i use some commands on my mouse, such as Reload. But you can customize every button to whatever configuration you desire, you can even have a few buttons doing the same command, it is a very user friendly way of saying, You cant complain. Because you cant. If you cant find a configuration that you like, then youre clearly doing something wrong. But I can almost guarantee that you wont need to change much at all. Maybe a few odd buttons to suit your personal preference, but nothing major. The original layout is very nice to play on, the Titans cannot jump, so they have used the same button to jump and the boost on the Titans, which is a very nice thing. Sounds like something very small, but it really does help when playing. Overall really great layout and customization.

I want to buy this game so bad. I just looks so fun and the graphics are amazing. With this review it makes me want to buy it even more.
I can't wait till I'm able to purchase it for Xbox 360! Thanks for this review, this totally made my mind up if I want to buy it for not and I'm going to.

9/10 for gameplay more like 6/10 i like the game but the gameplay is repetative and there is not enough pvp it seems like most games i play its me vs the ai the game feels nice and smooth but for the fact of what the game offers you in the long run its not really that good of a game yea you might have fun for about 2 weeks but then you would have wished you had not bought it i got the game day 1 and i have only racked up 4 hours play time because it bores me killing the ai makes me feel bad about myself because its to easy and all the normal players do is sit on roofs like scrubs my overal rating of the game is
