Synopsis
Scribblenauts Unmasked: A DC Comics Adventure is a puzzle video game by 5th Cell. It is the fifth game in the Scribblenauts series of games and the first based on a licensed property. The game combines the series' traditional gameplay of bringing up words and objects in order to solve puzzles with characters and settings from the DC Comics universe (DC Universe). The game was released by Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment for Wii U, Nintendo 3DS and Microsoft Windows in September 2013.[3]

Gameplay
If you have played any of the other games in the series then you should be familiar with whats going on. In this game your playing as a person named Maxwell, Maxwell goes around and helps people with there problems. Well this game is almost the exact same thing except your helping out the DC superheroes. Like you may need to help superman get his heat vision back if its stuck. The developers of this game said that there is around 2000 characters in the game overall. Characters can be modified in ways so that they are a different form of one person combined with another. The map that your running, flying, or riding on is a map way bigger than the other games have been. The locations are the following; bat cave which acts as the player's main hub, as well as Gotham City, Atlantis, Metropolis, the Fortress of Solitude, Central City, the Green Lantern Corps base on Oa and more. Once you start going further in the game you will start to learn origins from certain DC characters. After you do that you can play levels just for that super hero. There is no set campaign for the game which doesnt matter as long as your having a fun time with the game. In the game they have added DC Universe plots for the players to play but there just like the movies and all. You can also get more costumes in this game to dress up like a superhero. I thought the game was really fun to play and it was enjoyable.

Graphics
The graphics of this game, you might notice is that they dont really change much. They didnt change much in this game really either. The only real main thing that was new to the graphics is the characters, some costumes, and maybe some new things or words you can summon in. The games buildings have improved with nice building designs. You can see what is glass on the building because it has a little shine on the glass. The people look better with a little tiny noticeable 3D look. The people still dont make any sense to me, they will be standing there like doing squats randomly or it tries to make em look like there working. The game has little effects when you blow things up which look the same. It has gray smoke and a orange yellowish effect to it. Another thing I noticed that was new was that they added shadows to like walls, yet again giving it that 3D feel. On some parts if levels you will see lights going in the air signaling to for batman to come, and the lights look amazing. I really like with what they have brought the game to since the first one. They have improved just a tiny bit but not to much.

Controls
The controls if I remember correctly havent changed since the very first one. It is still the same controls which are all simple and would definitely make a difference if they were different. Click on things to interact with the object like pick it up or hit it, click to another side of a screen to move Maxwell around, and drag objects to the trash can to get rid of them. Every thing includes a movable mouse, your finger, or using a stylus to type and do all the controls. A good thing is that you can use your finger if you dont have a mouse or a stylus to use. One thing that the makers have done different was you can type adjectives to make people stronger or things whatever you type. If the controls were different like said before it could really mess the player up in certain ways. I think everything is in the right position and shouldnt be moved around any where. Developers did a great job with the controls.
