Synopsis
Scribblenauts is an emergent puzzle action video game developed by 5th Cell for the Nintendo DS published by WB Games. The game was released on September 15, 2009 in North America,[1] September 30, 2009 in Australia,[2] October 9, 2009 in Europe[3] and on January 27, 2011 in Japan as Flash Puzzle: Maxwell's Mysterious Notebook ( Hirameki Pazuru: Makkusuweru no Fushigi na Nto?) by Konami.[6] It is the third Nintendo DS video game made by 5th Cell, the first two being Drawn to Life and Lock's Quest. The objective of Scribblenauts, as implied by its catchphrase "Write Anything, Solve Everything", is to complete puzzles to collect "Starites", helped by the player's ability to summon any object (from a database of tens of thousands) by writing its name on the touchscreen.

Gameplay
There really is no set campaign or gameplay to this game, it can be all out war or it can be peaceful and have a cool world. What the game is popular for is that you can almost summon anything and when I mean anything, I literally mean anything. The player can summon among animals, weapons, forces of nature, famous people (both fictional and real), vehicles, household objects, easter eggs of the development team, and even internet memes. The two things that it wont summon are trademark items and it wont do profanity language. If your referring to the other word as donkey it will spawn a donkey. Another good thing about this game is if your little or dont know how to spell a word it has a spell checker to it and it will help you. Players with certain softwares have managed to find a way to get all the words, and there is a total of 22,800 unique entries. The "campaign" all your really doing is helping people with there problems and try to fix it for them. Some levels you may need to use strategies and beat the level. There are two types of levels though; action and puzzle. Puzzle is real life situations that you need to do and action is for side scrolling players. There is also a free play mode. The free play mode makes the whole game in my opinion. It is super fun to see what you can spawn, you can see monsters fight, and do crazy things like nukes. I had an absolute blast when I was playing this game a lot.

Graphics
The graphics of this game are not to bad for this type of game. Your person as your playing as, or as I could say the whole game is in 2D. It all depends on what you spawn in that looks good or bad. I will try my best for some things but I havent played the game recently. If you spawn a certain monster it looks like a giant fly. Now the fly looks all greenish like and has huge eyes that look like there starring into you. It has huge wings which makes it looks really dumb. Another thing that you can spawn is like people. If you type in Mom or Dad it will pop up with people that look different. Your mom will have like a pink shirt and looks happy, and your dad will have a blue shirt and look happy. But if you say argue they will get into an argument and be mad. The map has no texture to it at all. But if you use bombs it can blow up the grass and you can get deeper into the ground. I think the graphics could be improved a little but not so much. It goes perfect with the game and all.

Controls
The controls of this game mainly use the touch pad. The D-Pad and touch buttons are all used for scrolling the screen around. The player controls a guy named Maxwell, maxwell can be moved around by just simply tapping the screen somewhere with a stylus. If the player simply taps a object Maxwell will either run over there to pick it up, or just pick it up. There is also another option Maxwell can do, he can ride things. If you spawn a bike, helicopter, plane etc. he can ride those things and roam around. The main control of this game is simply typing a object. Like if you type up apple an apple will just spawn out of the thin air. All of the controls make perfect sense and goes along with the game. I imagine if there was any other controls of this game it would be a jumbled mess and just screw up everywhere. These controls made it easy and made the game a better experience for me.
