Info
Title: Overlord II
Developer: Triumph Studios
Publisher: Codemasters
Release Date: 23 Jun 2009

Synopsis
Overlord II, sequel to the critically acclaimed cult hit, sees the return of the chaotic Minions and their new Dark Master. Bigger, badder and more beautifully destructive, Overlord 2 has a Glorious Empire to smash, a massive Netherworld to revive, Minion mounts to mobilize, a trio of mistresses to woo, War Machines to crush opposition and lots of cute creatures to, err... murder (and a mini-map)

Gameplay
The gameplay of Overlord II is very much the same as Overlord, not much has changed at all. The only thing I found different wat that you started with a different character. But that's about it. All the layouts were the same and same with the scripting. Now this is pointed to a younger audience as you can tell from the scrips, everything is made so clear that you cannot possibly misunderstand what it means, also with the huge navigational panel to. It's all very user friendly.

Graphics
The graphics have improved a little bit over the first Overlord game, all the textures seem more 3D, like the building have some shape to them and the characters have more shape to them also. The colors are much the same as the first one with nice color tones that aren't over saturated in any way. You can adjust the Gamma levels a bit from the in game options. The character models seem to be a bit better this time around as you can make out what type of creature they are.

Controls
The controls are much the same as Overlords, very user friendly. They are so simple you'll get used to them in seconds. This is down to the fact that it is directed more to the younger gamers and complicated controls just cannot happen. I didn't have to change any controls at all, didn't even look if you could. but there's nothing that I'd change about them anyway. Great job. So to sum it all up, this game has very nice features for the younger gamers just starting out on PC games.
