Genre: Puzzle

Synopsis
In May 2013, Metro released a "Dumb Ways to Die" game as an app for iPhone, iPod touch and iPad devices.[20][21] The game, developed by Julian Frost and Samuel Baird,[22] invites players to avoid the dangerous activities engaged in by the various characters featured throughout the campaign.[23] Within the app, players can also pledge to "not do dumb stuff around trains".[24][25] The activities include things like getting toast out with a fork and poking a stick at a grizzly bear.

Gameplay
The gameplay of Dumb Ways to Die is fun, frustrating, and just the most random things ever. The game consists of levels that are just random but are very dumb ways to die like poking a grizzly bear or get your private parts bitten by piranhas, its that random. Each level has a different thing to do (those will be listed below). There is only one mode and that is "single player". Single player in this game is just the full game and it is not the same every time too. At first it starts out the slowest it could ever be, then once you start beating levels getting further in "life" or the game it will start to speed up. At first the player shouldn't get the hang of it on his first try, it will take the player to get a little use to and they will then realize that there reflexes need to speed up. I really enjoy how fun and addicting this game actually is but its one of those games that can get boring really fast too. It is a very repetitive game which is another reason it could get boring.

Graphics
The graphics in this game is not really a 3D game but it is a 2D game. The graphics of this game would not effect the gameplay of this. It has different little characters that have the shape of a jelly bean kind of, these characters are in the game and are the ones you have to keep alive. If you mess up or don't complete the level in time it will have a little animation on the level of your guy dying. Each levels fail thing is different like said before, poke the grizzly bear in the wrong spot it will eat you, its like that. They also have different things on levels like piranhas, cars, trains, fork etc. Every thing on this game runs really smooth, the animations are silly and don't lag one bit. I really how everything on this runs smooth with no lag and see the different things that happen to each character.

Controls
The controls of Dumb Ways to Die is all different on each level I guess you could say. The game mostly consists of tapping the screen, rubbing your finger across the screen or even on one level blow your screen. For example on the fork one you must pull out a fork from a toaster, if the fork touches the toaster you die and lose a life. To successfully pull out the fork you must drag your finger on the fork and pull up its that simple. The game is just like that pretty much with everything else. I really enjoy the game and with these controls it makes it really easy to play. Overall the controls of this game are just plain out simple which always makes things fun.

I remember when this came out as a song for a commercial, then went viral.

I didn't even know they had a game for it too ahha.

Nice review!
