After Carter and his team established a connection with the Outsider's home world, they then take the spacecraft that the scientists created from the debris of the wreckage and travel to the Outsider's planet. Upon entering the Outsider's planet with their intent to destroy Axis which is the Outsider's supreme commander thats ordering the outsiders to attack Earth, it turns out that Agent Carter had been controlled by Asaru which is some sort of ethereal that the outsiders had been looking for in Earth. Later on, the ethereal inside Carter switches from being inside Carter to one of the other 3 people that were trying to destroy Origin. By choosing one of the 3 people, the affects will be different and the whole war against the outsiders is covered up and only a few agents from Groom Range know exactly what happened and must keep it strictly confidential.

Gameplay
The Bureau features many ways and tactics that will affect how the player will pursue their enemies. By playing on harder difficulties, the player is less likely to succeed pass certain parts of the mission since the Outsiders are very deadly when it comes to fighting a group of them by yourself and players must strategically use their 2 agents that tag along with them to good use in order to easily pass certain parts of the campaign. The agents that the player can take with them are specialized into 4 different classes. The agent's classes are support, recon, engineer, and commander. Each class has their own unique special abilities the player can use by using battle focus to give commands to their agents. By ranking their agents, players will unlock new abilities to use at their disposal which provide very good support when in tough situations. Players will be able to use a variety of human and alien weaponry throughout the campaign. As players progress through the campaign, the enemies will get tougher and new different variations of the Outsiders will appear as they are a much stronger and advanced version of the original. During the campaign, players will find notes an journals that give the player a more insight detail about what happened beforehand. If the player's agents go down during the campaign, they can revive them to prevent them from dying but won't get back up until all the enemies in the surrounding area have been eliminated. But if the player fails to revive both their teammates, the game will end and the player will start the mission again. And if the player goes down, the player can use battle focus to give the revive command to one of their teammates to go and revive them.

Graphics
The graphics in The Bureau are really fantastic and well executive. The details upon each character's face is well unique and greatly textured. The mouth and chin movements when a character is speaking are superbly executed. The graphics amongst each Outsider look so surreal with the shape of the eyes, minor details above the top of the Outsider's skulls, and the face gestures. The details amongst the map locations will vary in detail as in some locations, the trees and bushes would have a repetition of the same exact shape, size and direction throughout a certain point, while others will have a more diverse look to them. The human weapons are well created and look exactly as what they are represented as. The Outsider's weaponry look very cool as in the shape, and design, as well as the firing of the weapon itself shows variety amongst them, and have that alien-like and futuristic appearance to them which is sure to catch the player's eyes.

Controls
This game features a wide array set of different controls for players to use. When a player decides to use any ability at all, they would have to hold down the command button, as well as using the analog stick and point it in the direction of the ability they want use and then press press the action button. Like most popular shooting games, the controls for switching weapons, aim down sights, reloading, and firing a weapon are the same basic controls. A bad thing that players will notice when using a sniper is that they will be unable to hold their breath for a more precise shot to the enemy so players will have to be patient and time their shots right to get that critical hit on their enemies. If a player wants to move his team to a certain position without going the phrase of the battle focus, they can hit up on the directional pad to send their team to that position the player had designated them to go towards. And to regroup with your teammates in a case if separations, players just hit down on the directional pad instead.
