Synopsis
NASCAR Unleashed is a racing video game developed by Firebrand Games and published by Activision. It was released on November 1, 2011 for PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, Wii, Nintendo 3DS.

Gameplay
The gameplay of NASCAR Unleashed is similar to the previous game's game plays, it also shares the same game play as NASCAR: Inside Line. It runs on the same engine as all of the other ones too. It is similar to all racing games you have a car and you race on tracks and try to win the race. If you win the race you gain popularity of fans and sponsors like M&Ms might want you to represent them. The game includes 6 locations, 15 series cups, and 12 different track layouts. The six locations are; Chicagoland Speedway, Daytona International Speedway, Homestead-Miami Speedway, Martinsville Speedway, Talladega Superspeedway, and one fictional city. It has little tracks to play on but the tracks are either very long or very short. Like I have said before it is pretty much the exact same thing as the other games so there isnt much to explain. I really liked the game overall, it was not consistent, I really enjoyed how it was like real life too.

Graphics
The graphics of this game have definitely improved from the last games but they still aren't the best graphics I have seen. The cars and all look really good especially with the paint jobs it has and how detailed it looks compared to real life. The road on this looks great, the rubber burned on it when drifting is fantastic looking and is really good. But now here comes some flaws. The grass doesn't look like it took time at all, it looks exactly the same as a green wall would. People in the middle and the fans look like it took no work whatsoever, they look very pixelized. Another flaw is that when your racing and your going at a high speed, air will come off your car and it looks like strings of white. The overall graphics are good but not great, there are multiple flaws and could use some improvements.

Controls
Controls of this game couldn't be any easier than anything else. It is similar to most racing games of course, but it is designed to fit the player the way he feels comfortable. Like say you wanted to gas you can either press "RT" or "A" to do that, or "LT or "B" to brake or start to slow down. I like it so if you arent comfortable with one you can try the other button and see if its better for you. It only has 4 main controls you should know; gas, brake, drift, and boost. These are literally the only controls I believe for this game. Overall the games controls are fantastic with a low amount of controls to memorize and learn, they are also not hard to get the hang of either. I personally enjoy using the RT, LT controls way but its all based on your opinion.
