Info
Title: Skyscraper Simulator
Genre: Simulation
Developer: United Independent Entertainment GmbH , Actalogic
Publisher: Libredia
Release Date: 9 Sep 2010

Synopsis
You're a constructer and youve specialized in the "bringing up" of skyscrapers. Due to your specialization over the years you constantly get new orders for higher and higher skyscrapers in town. Within your responsibilities are the planning, the supply with construction materials and the worker management. In the beginning you are dealing with multi-storey town houses, but later on you find yourself in realizing magnificent buildings for the rich and famous. A level is considered to be solved, if, within the specified time, the received contracts and tasks have been fulfilled.

Gameplay
Gameplay on this game is as you would imagine, very slow. You're in control of a building site in which you have to make a building out of. Now I know that may not sound fun to most of you, but it can be. You'd need to be pretty bored and have time on your hands to play it, but it can entertain you. Now this game has always been slated for not working properly on some PC's. I also had this problem, but got it fixed in next to no time. Many people have had trouble contacting the dev team about this issue and no response has been given, so only buy if you know it will work. But it's a lottery...

Graphics
They're awful, truly awful. A game like this doesn't need 'great' graphics, but at least make an effort. They may have well used 2D graphics engines as that what it looks like. Now I know I'm complaining, but it's annoying, this game could have been much better if it had slightly better graphics. It's a cheap game yes, but surly you want to give the best gaming experience you can to the people who buy the game. The detail around the background looks like it was made by a 2 year old out of clay and paint, and the close up graphics are much the same thing. Very disappointed.

Controls
The controls are easy, very easy to get the hang of. They have stuck with the simple nearly all mouse controls with on screen instructions when you need them. Not enough simulators have this feature, so I congratulate them for that. You can map certain buttons to other keys on your keyboard, but it's really unnecessary for you to do that.

System Requirements
OS: Windows XP / Vista / 7
Processor: Intel or AMD up from 2.0 GHz
Memory: 1024 MB RAM
Graphics: Geforce ATI Radeon up from 128 MB

Ratings
