Hello, and welcome to the United Republic's recruiting thread. We are recruiting forgers, diplomats, and soldiers to represent us. We fight for freedom and prosperity in the Halo community, along with building alliances with others, meeting friends, and more.
Our motto: 'One of ours equals twenty of theirs.'

Recruitment:
We are currently looking for diplomats to forge alliances, forgers to construct bases, and soldiers to represent us on the battlefield. If you are good at these, you will be recruited.
Ranks:
Recruit: a rookie at heart.
Private: you have experience, but are not yet ready to lead.
Sergeant: leader of a squad of five.
Captain: leader of three squads. Only obtained through acts of bravery.
Major: leader of five squads. Also only obtained through acts of bravery.
Lt. Colonel: in control of all present ground forces.
Colonel: in control of defenses, ground units, and air units.
Lt. Commander: in charge of base operations.
Commander: in control of all units.
Private: you have experience, but are not yet ready to lead.

The standard ground force. The troopers of the UR are the first offense and defense.
UR Navy/Marines
The Navy is in control of the frigates, aircraft carriers, and pilots of the UR. The Navy is perfect for pilots. Navy Marines are used for stealth operations.
Honor Guard:
The Honor Guard is in charge of protecting the base of operations. Honor Guards are the most trusted, loyal, and lethal of all branches.
