What kind of a kv do I need for a slim

i think you can use a type 2

You need a type two KV, that is from a slim console, if it is a phat KV you will need to change a line in Hex edit front he KV so it works with the slims or use Wilez KV converter to at least tell which KV it is meant for. Here is the thread with the KV converter: Wilez KV Converter

You need a type two keyvault for sim consoles.

If you have a type 1, use a keyvault converter to change it into a type two and you'll be good to go!

I never understood that, what happens when you have a type 2 KV on a console that takes type 1 KVs, and vice versa?
