I just got an elgato GC HD and I'm wondering what video editing software to use.

I've been looking at the Adobe suite, and the powerdirector ultimate from cyberlink
Are there any specific programs / software that would work best.

I primarily record FIFA 14 gameplay, and I'll be updating to youtube. I do want to add images in the foreground, etc whenever I can / add my own art to the actual video recordings.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

You just made this topic in the graphics section, I had just finished typing an elaborate description of what to use, and you went ahead and deleted it. I will never forgive you for that.

Anyways, I would suggest Sony Vegas. It is great for beginners, and there's tons of tutorials for anything your heart desires on YouTube.

I saw it ended up in graphics by accident.. wasn't paying attention. It was late.

I forgot about vegas, I'll have to check it out.

I'd suggest Sony Vegas for beginners, but if you are trying to get better with many more options, use After Effects. Check out my edits: [ Register or Signin to view external links. ]

If you're just making commentaries, Sony Vegas.

Sony Vegas Pro, it's the best imo. I've tried many and none are as simple and easy to learn as Sony Vegas while still being good.

There are tons of other software you can use.

Heres a list of what I like

Adobe After effects
Adobe Premier Pro
Sony Vegas
